We’re a national bank with a local feel. Our network of branches caters for customers who want a more personal approach, and we also offer a wide range of savings accounts supported by a friendly, dedicated call centre. We regularly receive awards – some nominated by our industry peers. But we're proudest of the accolades voted for by our customers.

Responding to the challenges and opportunities that Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) matters present is an integral part of how we operate, and these matters sit at the forefront of everything we do.

Our customers

Our strong, long-standing relationships with our customers are something we are most proud of, and we aim to always put them first. We do this by providing high standards of customer service, and by offering a flexible range of accounts – whether they’re operated online, in branch, or via post. Our savings accounts, cash ISAs and bonds are designed to suit a variety of different savers and different needs.

We know that ensuring the safety of your hard-earned money is paramount, so eligible deposits with Kent Reliance are protected up to a total of £85,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK's deposit protection scheme.

No matter what support you need, or situation you’re facing, we’re here to help in any way we can. Please visit our Support page for further information.

Demelza Hospice Care for Children

We began supporting this Kent-based children’s hospice when it was founded in 1998 through various fundraising and sponsorship initiatives. In January 2018 we also launched our Demelza children's account, from which we make an annual donation to the hospice equivalent to 0.25% of the total average balances held in these accounts.

XL@Football

In August 2021 we began our partnership with XL@Football , a female football academy. Our first act as club sponsor was to donate the valuable advertising space on the front of the matchday, training and coaching kits to Demelza, creating a fantastic three-way partnership.

In 2022 we also set up the Kent Reliance scholarship fund, which creates a dedicated development pathway for female football players into the professional game.

Our colleagues

Investing in the training, development and expertise of our colleagues has always been a high priority for us. We ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide tailored support to all customers, no matter their circumstances or situation.

We look after those who work with us and offer many benefits, including an internal award and recognition programme, a long service incentive and family-friendly benefits. Also, as part of our commitment to our ESG initiatives, we offer a cycle purchase scheme as well as electric vehicle lease scheme, and have installed EV charging points at our office locations.

Additionally, our employees have 14 hours each year to volunteer for a local good cause, helping towards our commitment to supporting the less fortunate in our communities.
